2021 JUNIOR TACKLE FOOTBALL CHEER SEASON
(Season is from June 5th 2021- November 2021)
Welcome To Our All New Summer/Fall Cheer Program!! Our Cheer Squads are divided into 4 age groups. Cheerleaders will experience a
fun and exciting tryout to be placed on one of the 4 squads. ALL CHEERLEADERS WILL MAKE ONE OF THE SQUADS. These squads will focus
on basic motions of cheer, sideline football cheers, chants , jumps , stunts, basic tumble and a half time dance performance. Cheerleaders will cheer
and dance for the Denham Springs Jr. Football Team, cheer 2-3 parades and cheer in our league wide Jr. Cheer Championship at the end of the season.

SQUADS/AGES Youth: 4-5 Juniors: 6-10 Junior Varsity- 6-13 Varsity: 11-16 Cheerleaders will be involved in : Cheer For Tackle Football Games (DSYF) Dance during Half-time of Games (Varsity Cheer) 2021 Southern University Homecoming Parade -TBA 2021 Sugar Cane Festival & Parade - Cheerleaders Performing TBD 2021 Veteran's Day Parade-TBD All Events maybe subject to cancel or change |
PRACTICES CHEER PRACTICE Starting July 6 2021 (Varsity) Tuesdays & Thursdays- 6:15pm - 7:30pm (1.5hr) ( Youth & Juniors) Tuesdays - 6:15pm- 7:15pm ( 1hr) @ SOUTH PARK Vincent Road Denham Springs LA 70726 1st practice starts on July 6th CONTINUED CHEER PRACTICE August- November 2021 (Varsity) Thursdays- 6:15pm - 7:30pm (1.5hr) ( Youth & Juniors) Tuesdays- 6:15pm- 7:15pm @ SOUTH PARK Vincent Road Denham Springs LA 70726 In August when school is back in session we will have only 1 day of practice for all cheer squads. Please note that in September our practices will take place in our Gym Facility about 15 minutes from South Park in Baton Rouge due to loosing daylight. GAMES Games are on Saturdays starting September - October November is Playoffs & SUPERBOWL (TBD) All Home Games are Hosted at DSHS There will be a $7.00 gate entry fee (cash only) |
